Robert Hogg is a co-founder of Ancero and serves as a Managing Partner. In this role, Rob oversees all finance, legal and operational activities for the company, as well as offering high level direction and strategy to support the company’s growth. Rob brings more than 25 years of IT, finance and operational experience to the organization. Before co-founding Ancero, Rob was the General Manager of Insurance Agencies, Inc., where he was responsible for all operational activities, including coordinating numerous merger and acquisition efforts for the firm. Rob began his career as a COBOL programmer for the Artesian Water Company where he developed and maintained the company’s IT software systems. Rob is an avid golfer who enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
As a Managing Partner at Ancero, Paul oversees all sales and marketing activities, providing strategic direction. Paul spearheads new product and market development for the company. Since joining Ancero in 2003, Paul has positioned the company to excel as a Managed Service Provider & Hosted PBX / VOIP Provider, while growing revenues simultaneously. Prior to joining Ancero, Paul was VP of Systems Integration at ATX Communications and was the founder and CEO of IDCI. He brings more than 30 years of telecommunications experience to the team, and was named one of the top 250 executives shaping the global managed services market. Paul maintains a seat on the Board of the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce where he can help contribute to a thriving business community in the mid-jersey counties. During downtime Paul enjoys spending time with his family and fishing with friends.
As Director of Client Services, Barbara oversees all client care services and ensures that Ancero clients receive the highest level of customer service. Barbara also guides the team that manages the day-to-day relationships with our Managed Services and Utility VoIP clients, so the services we provide keep pace with clients’ changing needs. Before joining Ancero in 2009, Barbara spent 25 years in telecommunications, including as the Regional Retention Manager at Cable & Wireless in Philadelphia. Later, Barbara founded Telecom Connections, Inc., a telecommunications consulting firm. In 2011, Barbara was named to the prestigious Top 250 MSP Mentor List, which ranks the world’s top managed service provider executives, entrepreneurs and experts across numerous disciplines. In her spare time, Barbara spends time with family, volunteers with such organizations as Aid for Friends and works on her golf game.
Matt is responsible for the overall coordination, functional management and leadership of all the sales activities of the business. He is responsible for establishing both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with Ancero’s business plan. Matt works with field sales and in concert with Client Services & Operations, ensuring client satisfaction. Monthly, Matt manages sales objectives for all of the sales personnel and spends a significant portion of his time in the field with both individual accounts and traveling with sales. Keeping up to date with recent market & industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies is at the foundation of Matt’s success. Matt is a seasoned sales professional with over 20 years experience. He has delivered results for ATX Communications, XO Communications and Yamaha Motor Corporation. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 sons, coaching their sports teams and giving back to his community.
As Director of Engineering, Randy Benson oversees all senior systems and network engineers. He leads and supervises engineers as they develop, test, modify, deploy and create solutions to technical problems. Randy manages the collaboration efforts between the Sales and Field Engineering Departments to ensure quality of projects and oversees the project process from design to completion. In his role, he also works closely with Sales Engineering to develop product line roadmaps and strategies in a collaborative team environment. Randy brings to Ancero over 20 plus years of technical knowledge and holds numerous industry certifications and continues to research new and innovative technologies to best suit Ancero customers in the ever changing IT environment. Prior to joining the Ancero team, Randy served in the United States Navy for six years.
As Director of Marketing for Ancero, Shandi Hogg is responsible for the direction and management of marketing, advertising and promotional activities. Proactively taking steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the marketing and image of the company through various goals and objectives. Ensuring Ancero brand consistency and developing new initiatives based on market research and industry trends. Off the job Shandi enjoys spending time with her family, volunteers her marketing & design skill for school activities, gets lost in nature photography, maintains various active social media sites and occasionally picks up a tennis racquet.
